I’ve only dropped two manga: Bousou Kareshi (not a fan of the art style and sex scenes..I don’t read Sakira’s works) and Shounen Zanzou (it was too dark for me). I did when I was younger. Then I changed genres and couldn't stop reading. If it happens to you, no matter the genre, I recommend getting a library card and taking out a physical book. Sit in a comfortable spot without your phone or any typical distractions nearby, and you should have no trouble staying focused.   reply

For me, it depends. I don’t like when rape is involved. My favorite shota manga are the ones that don’t have sex until the boy grows up. Ex: Sayonara Alpha. I’m a SebaCiel shipper, so I can’t sit here and say that shota yaoi is wrong..I would be a hypocrite. Saying that yaoi or manga in general is pointless is like saying reading books, playing games, watching tv shows, and really..doing things you love..is pointless. Yaoi’s target audience is straight women...and honestly, people that say “yaoi is fetishizing gay couples” are being dumb. Look at how popular lesbian porn is...look at how women are constantly being objectified and sexualized in porn, manga, and irl. Yaoi manga is fictional. Nobody was harmed in the process.
