I just saw two really interesting things on TikTok that i think would be great for a fantasy world, first was a rare biome called tropical fjord in Golfo Dulce in Costa Rica. fjord are most prevalent in places like Scandinavia so there's quite few tropical ones, i believe there's only 4 in the world.

The second thing I saw is the homes of the Hakka people of china, they built massive circular home called Tulou. They were created for self defense originally and they look really awesome, i love circular structures.

Like the perfect example of this is Rashta, the hatred towards a literal slave girl who was abused all throughout her life just because she "stole" a noble woman man is so weird especially since white bread mc literally says she'd be okay with an affair if it was with a noble woman??? She just hates poor people lmao

Mary sues are usually female characters but i think A LOT of bl characters fit the bill

Mines are the selkie, mermaid and zombies especially the original Haitian folklore zombie

Garbage vs trash for me personally but if I had to pick ig teasing at least that shows some kind of interest on his part

Disappointing endings are nothing new but what's one that you actually completely hated?

I feel like authors don't think they can create conflict in any other way but i genuinely think communication can cause A LOT of conflict, disagreements especially in relationship are normal and big parts of conflicts in relationships. Just because two people are open and communicate it doesn't mean they'll always agree and won't fight

They don't, they don't like writing, they don't like theme's and they don't get characters are in service of a story. It's just hype moments and aura with these people. "Uuuh let people enjoy things " no I don't think i will.

I feel like every newer bl is the same shit over and over like it's always been kind of a cookie cutter genre but its genuinely getting worse and worse
