My friend got asked out by a guy, let's call him bob. She met bob coincidentally at a jeepney, she said hi because they were old classmates and so they talked for awhile then bob asked if my friend was free for coffee and she said yes. Days passed and they were flirty and stuff, then the date came... Tuesday. The guy literally didn't say anything about cancelling that day, he just said his class ends at 9pm. Again, no words of cancelling.
My friend waited 4 hours for him, it was hot outside. She kept waiting and waiting, she sent him texts to see if he's coming but he didn't. Text were on delivered for 4 hours. Only for him to respond "sorry, I wasn't clear about what time" and "how do I make it up to you?" And his reason was that he had a broken phone (mentioned way earlier but still) and that he was in like some other city and she couldn't reply because her class was about to start, she said later to talk and he said yes. His classes ends at 9pm. He replied to her at 11pm.
She said to him "just set up a date and time" and she's still waiting to THIS DAY for him to set up a time, yet this mf jokes more about getting her HOME ALONE TO HIMSELF and THEY EVEN HAVEN'T HAD THEIR FIRST DATE THAT HE KEPT PROLONGING?? . Now he freaking told her that he can't do cafe dates cus he's broke and he can just get some food to her house???
Also my friend, this is her first ever possible relationship, I told her the guy wasn't worth it but she thinks I'm too harsh on him, that he had "reasons". I get being understanding but that's to a certain degree!

No cause some of these ppl are just straight normalising child abuse and neglect.... I saw a post where a mom rehomed their cat cause the baby turned out to be allergic and people hated on the mom for throwing a cat away cause of a baby. Okay i have the most amazing friends ever and they genuinely helped me get over things, also i learned to rely ob myself more and yadah yadah character development actually so anyways i like tried to gift them nitro but they refused to accept it and so im thinking maybe friend gift cards yk appreciation cards but i dont wanna come off as too obsessive or wtv. I'll go first some user here said "it's okay to leave someone even if they're depressed" it's still stuck to me to this day. That made me think for awhile and I even wanted to say "Hey that's not okay" but then I realised mid typing my whole essay. I don't think that person meant anything negative with that since they usually go give advice to people. Anyways, after that I started to get more Vids of people's pov handling a depressed person and how much it was hurting them. It dawned upon me.
It was okay to feel hurt from dealing with people like that and not having to want to take care of them like jaiden animations said "it's not your responsibility to take of someone's happiness" and I felt relieved. Honestly that was the reason why I took therapy cus I realised my feelings mattered and so did everyone else around them.
After all "I'm just a kid too" and it was really comforting to hear that. I just hope that user that said that, see how that qoute changed someone's life. It's really funny how some stranger saying things to you can change things.
