I tend to avoid tragedy with a 10 ft pole since I really don't like the sad feelings that linger but when I have, I am usually OKAY at most just a little teary. I had avoided tragedy for so long but I recently watched banana fish and it completely destroyed me. I bawled for the main characters and cried so much. I am thoroughly traumatized and vow to never go through such a painful experience again (dramatic i know, but I'm just very disheartened). But for those who seek it and enjoy tragic endings, why?

For the first time in my life, I think I’ve finally had the kind of attraction to someone that you read in books. It was instantaneous. I saw him and I just thought he was so “cute.” And then, as the day progressed, my attraction grew and grew. half way during our time together, I grew sad at the thought that this was just one sided and that I would never see him again.
