I was already 22 when I discovered Junjou Romantica and Sensitive Pornograph and I was 25 when I read my first Yaoi manga, which is You're My Loveprize in Viewfinder. Actually the first time I read yaoi I was 18 so it wasn't that surprising, I had already passed for the curiosity-about-male-anatomy age gap and referring to the gay part well I was experienced in the boy's love novels area so contrary to most of you it was a nice surprise to really can see in actual pictures what I could only imagine with the nov...... reply
I think I'm about the same as you. I'm OK with rape, incest, bdsm, necrophilia and things like that. For rape, I don't mind as long as it isn't one of those rape=love stories, where the person who has been raped is just like "oh he raped me because he loved me so it's ok."

I vaguely remember watching Shaman King and Digimon as Saturday morning cartoons. I loved them, but didn't know that they were anime. My first anime (that I knew was an anime) was Fruits Basket. It hooked me and I went looking for more.
