I'm hoping it ends with Souichi telling Morinanga's parents off when they confront them, followed by Souichi FINALLY admitting to himself, his family, Morinanga, and the world that he does truly love Morinanga.
As icing on the cake, it would be great to see Morinanga and Souichi get married and maybe even raise a kid.

It has 9 volumes so far and Takanaga sensei announced in volume 7 that the story is already reaching the first part of the final arc, thus, would be concluding with volume 8 as the last installment in the series. Idk but ur ending is the most possible outcome if the author wants them to have a happy ending. But I'm thinking that it'd be nice, if some time in the story that Morinaga's patience ends and he demands an answer from Souichi. i also prefer sekaiichi because i feel that the characters and plot are much more concrete and it feels like junjou romantica is only an experiment to see if a scene would be a hit for the readers or not
also it actually took me awhile to finish Junjou because i couldn't move past the Egoist series

That's because in my opinion JR's strong points are Nowaki x Hiroki and Asahina x Isaka and SIH's strongest point is Kirishima x Yokozawa (well, mostly in the light novels but Yokozawa himself is a gem). That would be a 2-1 but having Yokozawa and Kirishima is enough to balance it to a 2-2.
