My first anime was Captain Tsubasa, course it was dubbed in Arabic and called Captain Majid. Took me YEARS to find out that it was actually of Japanese origin, which happened soon after I read my first manga (turned out to be a manhwa), Island. I'd never seen art like that before, and needless to say, was hooked. First manga was Death Note. 1 reply
Like other people said it depends on where you are going, I am studying abroad and loneliness still hit me at the most random times, I still have no friends after so many years (chuck that to my personality) but it's a great experience. If you have the finances to do it, go for it as it will open a new world of opportunities for you. In this day an...... reply
Yes it so worth the trouble and even though it's difficult and frustrating to adapt to a new culture and maybe learn a new language, it's an experience like no other. Also I don't know which country you come from or where you plan to go and whether or not you have a family that can get you out of the occasional tough situation, I don't have one and...... reply
It really depends on when and where you're planning on going. For me, studying abroad was actually cheaper than studying in my hometown, and while I had a serious case of the shut in syndrome for a bit, I made new friends (better ones in some cases), and those who really cared stayed in touch no matter what.
I do, however, know a few people who th...... 1 reply
When I first saw yaoi I was really excited because until then I only saw shojo and I really didn't like shojo because it was really slow paced and there was just one kiss in the whole anime so that really iritated me and this was like a dream come true although I'm really sad that there aren't many yaoi anime. reply
The first anime I ever watched was Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch which aired in my country when I was 7, but at that time I did not know what anime was. After 5 or so years I thought I should look it up and watch some episodes, then I read on wiki about anime.I first tried Date A Live-great show- .When it comes to manga I saw Kaichou Wa Maid-sama...... 1 reply
My first anime was probably sailor moon. I was probably 4 or 5 and I remember having all of the vhs tapes and I had a sailor moon doll. I'm pretty sure the first manga was Kuroshitsuji. I watched the anime and then discovered the manga for it. reply

Hell yeah!!! Viewfinder was my first, I think............I have a bad memory. But I think I got into after watching Sensitive Pornograph. I then watched all the other yaoi series that I could find and eventually moved on to manga. I recognized Viewfinder since I had watched the OVA. Its still among my top three favorites. 2 reply

I can honestly say that I had a lady boner. ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ The first scene I saw like that was from finder, then all Ayano sensei's books, then the kuroneko series (I honestly had a nosebleed) and right into the smuttiest mangas, and now I'm soooooo into yaoi lemon that I lost my way back to the world of the living and I don'...... 5 reply
I loved it, gave me jitters. I wasn't completely new to yaoi at the time, but still. It was from the visual novel Dramatical Murder (way back when I was first getting into VNs), the sex scene between Aoba and Kojaku. I shit you not (really, truly, shit you not), a single drop of blood ran out of my nose when scene started, I paused the game and lau...... reply

'Things' are your daily life experiences by which you get to know the world around you. Tell others about the things you did, may it be cool, sad, crazy or funny. You can also find things that you might want to do and a friend to do it with!
