Before reading yaoi I read a lot of shoujo and josei smut and I was used to seeing hardcore actions in manga, so when I saw 2 guys doing each other I wasn't really shocked (besides, when I picked up my first yaoi, I knew what the genre meant). My first reactions were like this:

I was looking for togainu no chi manga cause I didn't like how the anime ended and I accidentally read a doujinshi.. I wasn't looking for yaoi cause at the time I didn't know what it was.. Yes I read yaoi, I read it often. My first yaoi was Fake! and it was wonderful. I think I got more into it since my bullies were homophobic so showing them pictures of two guys kissing really freaked them out and had them running away from me. Yaoi makes me feel safe. 1 reply
