Anime, that would probably be doraemon if that is included. Other than that well... Cardcaptor Sakura -> cant believe I watch it when I was a kid and be innocent when Tomoya and Yukito (light shounen ai was going around) was ended up having a love story o_O did not realize it back then, I guess clamp story is very heavy but their drawing is very be...... reply
Honestly, my first kiss wasn't great because I didn't have feelings for the person I kissed. But when I started dating someone and I kissed them for the first time, that was A+ yo. Best kiss ever (▰˘◡˘▰) reply
My very first anime was probably a mix of Trigun, Wolfs Rain, Fooly Cooly, Full Metal Alchemist, and anything else that was on Toonami back in the early 2000's. I watched all of them every saturday night, but as far as following a story line it was probably .hack//sign or Yu Yu Hakusho.
As for manga it was an issue of shounen jump my mom got me f...... 1 reply
I was around 11 going on 12 and it was junjouromantica ,the it was okane no gai(which really blew my breath away )and just by the first scene in junjouromantica I already witnessed another man jerking off another guy️️️️ 3 reply
Everyone started super young it seems. I didn't start reading manga until I was around 20 or 21. I started reading yaoi about a year after that. I wasn't interested in yaoi at first just because I thought that gay manga would only appeal to gay men, little did I know this genre was made by and aimed at women. reply
Middle school, so between the ages of 11 through 14 (?). I don't know exactly. I was reading romantic stories on Wattpadd, obvs heterosexual couples cos I didn't know anything else. Then, one of my favorite authors left one of her stories for a boy/boy story, and I got mad. Ended up reading it. Didn't like it, but I was hooked on the boy/boy aspect...... reply
Hmmm.... i guess i would have to have been 12 or 13? No maybe 11? I know i was in middle school when i first started reading yaoi. Back then i was curious about manga so i went to a website to read some (mangafox) and somehow i ended up in the yaoi world(?). Thanks to yaoi i figured out my best friend (guy) was gay before he even knew, yea sure he ...... reply
I was 11, I found fanfiction with Gary and Ash (pokemon) it was veeeeery detailed. They were my first yaoi pairing. Goku and Vegeta were my second! LOL ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ reply
At the beginning of this year, I found my obsession with yaoi. It started off with Junjou Romantica, then.. it got a whole lot better. Since the course of this year, I've read over 400 yaoi's ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ I'm so proud. (I was 14). 2 reply
Im pretty sure I was about 21 or 22. I didn't really get into anime and manga until about a few years ago. I knew about Yaoi but never really had an interest. Then I came across Junjou Romantica, My Life changed from there. reply
Y'all are so extra when I saw this question on the side bar I thought y'all were going to say y'all had cancer or something but it's about anime lmaoo but to answer question yes I do. It's usually bc I'm not in the mood due to the fact I watch it all the time and I'm tired of it. It doesn't last long tho just a couple of days. 1 reply
It happens to all the time with anime. With manga I just start reading it when ever, but with anime I have to like make time for it and figure out if I'm really in the mood to watch it. But once I start watching anime I won't stop until I'mm caught up with the multiple different animes that I'm watching XD reply
Yes, and it's not just with manga/anime. I get this when I get depressed and too stressed from school :( I'll feel so "dead" like I'm not sad, but I'm not happy either and I WANT to feel happy and enjoy a movie, a book, a new anime, or even a good yaoi but I can't get into it. All the things that I previously enjoyed don't do anything for me anymor...... reply
OMG YES! This is especially irritating when I'm stressed and want to read a manga or watch an anime and find it boring because I'm just not in the mood for it.
Most of the time it's because I've gotten extremely picky with what I read or watch. But there have been so many times that I just know I would have liked the manga/anime under normal circ...... reply
Yeah I've had the same thing for many times. I just try to do other things while I don't feel like watching/reading anime/manga. For example, watch some youtube, netflix, some new tv series you wanted to see, cartoons, movies, dramas, play some games or do something like crafting, drawing (basically try a few things you're interested in), and after...... 2 reply
Hmm I believe I was 9? Back when my older sisters lived with together with our family, we shared a desktop computer. And sometimes whenever I wanted to go on to play, I would see my sister reading yaoi (Junjou Romantica) and browsing aaerinfantasy (or however you spell it). And thus my exposure to that alongside Boku no Pico made me appreciate yaoi...... reply
Not really, because I only watch/read anime that I find interesting and fun to watch/read. If there's even once a time when I started watching this anime and I feel it's boring, I just stop there and try to find something else to watch. Though I guess Gintama was an exception for me, since the first two episodes were fillers and everyone kept urgin...... 1 reply
Wow, a lot of you were too young, huh? Good job! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ (Kidding... or not?)
I think I got into it when I was 21... I don't exactly remember what my first Yaoi manga was, though I think early on, I've mostly seen DJs like Haikyuu (I didn't even know about that series back then 'coz I just stumbled upon it). I wasn't really disgust...... reply
