Keep in mind an otaku is not a positive or endearing term in Japan. One shouldn't strive to be one either, it's cool to be passionate about anime/manga/cosplay/figures/etc. but for it to consume your life and you start staying indoors all the time, don't socialize and the sorts is not a good lifestyle. I think being an Otaku has nothing to do with ONLY watching anime. As an Otaku you can like so much more than just that, like games and stuff. As long as you don't become a weeaboo it's fine to like whatever you do. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
