I use tampons and occasionally panty liners when sleeping. I totally understand the feeling of not wanting to shove things up there (hell I'm gay lol) but everything you can be worried about had actually never happened to me and rarely happens to anyone. It can feel uncomfortable in the beginning (you have to make sure to put it in far enough or yo...... 1 reply
I haven't really used tampons ever so far however I did recently started using menstrual cups. And even though I am not a virgin, it was very uncomfortable the first time I used it to the point that I decided to never use it again. But pads are definitely more uncomfortable for me for various reasons, so I gave the mentrual cup another go, and the ...... reply

This might sound sarcastic, but it is not meant that way: Consider yourself lucky that you have the privilege of choice! Ever since the start of it I had to use both, tampons and pads because of the large amount of bloodlose. I was dumb as a teenager once by using only a pad and it leaked through the matras! I use a pad alternatively only if i have forgotten to carry the cup around during the time leading upto my periods. other than that its the menstrual cup for ...... reply

I love seeing the environmentalists here. I switched to cloths pads that are much softer and more absorbent than the plastic ones and when I'm home I just toss them in the washing machine and presto they are clean and ready to go again. After reading about the diva cup though, I think I might try it, I have always been too nervous to try a tampon b...... reply
Cups > Pads > tampons to me, although you should use whatever you prefer. :) No need to be scared of tampons, even if you're a virgin, those with applicators are much easier to put. You should make sure you change them often as it can become a health issue and usually it dries your body. Pads are sure less comfortable but def better for your wellbe...... 1 reply
I personally can’t use them because they make my cramps 1000x worse, but when I could use them they were much cleaner and they’re honestly not too hard to use? Tampons shouldn’t hurt though!! I’d make sure to check you’re using them right 1 reply
