Anime is fun because i dont have to scroll or flip pages. Everything moves on its own and its fun seeing the characters being brought to life with the voices. Having to listen to OST is also nice because it adds to the mood.
Manga is also fun because we get to see more of their thoughts and get to know the characters more. certain details that are...... reply
I both read manga and watch anime, but if I had to choose I would probably rather choose anime. Though both styles have their own definite pros and cons, some things can be done better in anime than in manga, and vice versa. For me, I love to watch the drawings come alive in animation on the screen. I love the beautiful colors that come with the ch...... reply
Ummm it's so difficult to choose just ONE!!!
I Like You by Momopia. (It would be so interesting to have the characters voiced, because they sound seriously hilarious in my head)
Tasogare Outfocus by Janome (I can just imagine it being so freaking cinematic & epic!)

Blood bank was my first, and I still re-read it sometimes, since I bought the paper version available in my country. Then I loved Banana fish till crying myself out, and recently I’ve come to love all Scarlet beriko’s works and Hollow lovers, an absolute masterpiece 2 reply

tragedy is a genre that contains a lot of emotions and it is more enjoyable watching the suffering of others and how it is portrayed. For me i mainly enjoy genres that belong to the dark side such as tragedy and psychological. Well interests differ reply
i don't exactly seek tragedy, but i definitely don't avoid it either. i think there are certain types of stories that, if they had happy endings per-say they would lose a lot of their emotional impact. tragedy can explore a thread of thought and ideas in a way that a happily ever after cannot.
like banana fish for instance, these characters lives...... reply
weirdly enough i love manga but honestly dont like anime very much. i feel like theres much more up to interpretation when you're reading rather than watching. like characters voices, the tone of the scenes and all that, its up to you and it feels more personal and consistent. and i also firmly believe that if you cant animate something well you sh...... reply
I'm a very sensitive person too and actually hate it that i am,, but in romance manga i dont like reading tragedy that much, (the ones that are just like oh the bf left and they havent seen eachother for so long or the bf died, not like that,, i enjoy the ones that have a psychological twist) for tragedy although i have read quite a few with very d...... reply
I am by no means the biggest fan of tragedies. But I found myself seeking out good ones on more than one occasion and I'll say its probably because its cathartic. I'm not someone who really indulges in the feelings the tragedies bring out when you're reading, or watching them. So for me its a way to acknowledge those feelings which I otherwise don'...... reply
I don't really enjoy how it ends at a very sad tragedy.... But I read it because it's interesting to see how the characters progress and feel some of the emotions that they feel. It's also kind of refreshing to see a bad ending amidst the multiple cliche filled stories that end in such a great ending. I dunno, maybe it's just me but I like the char...... reply
I don't read tragedy often and neither do I seek it everytime I am trying to find some manga to read but sometimes I do read them and I have liked them cause they sorta reflect how life isn't something perfect and will not always go the way you wanted it to.Yea it might not be easy to get over the deaths and characters going through hard time but a...... reply
