Hmmmm, not really lgbtq centered, but a movie I adore regardless is Tokyo Godfathers. One of the main chars is gay and trans (Hana). While it's not free of some underhanded gay jokes, it really captures her hardships well, and does her character justice. She feels like a real person to me. Honestly the only one I've really watched was Handsome Devil, but it's more acceptance of LGBT than two people in love. It was enjoyable though. Then again I can't say for sure cause I must've watched it about a year or so ago. reply
