Jazz for Two left me sobbing at 4 am on a Thursday night - or technically Friday morning - and I haven't been the same ever since. Never does a passing moment wander without me wondering, what if? What if his brother lived? ┗( T﹏T )┛ 1 reply
Ok so for some short background I don't cry easily, like at all but there; these hit HARD like I was straight up sobbing for the first two, so if you into sad stuff I highly recommend these.

-Life Senjou no Bokura
-10 years where I loved you the most
-Doutei ni Ai Nante Sakebenai!

I agree with a silent voice but the last manga that I read that really broke my heart and still does to this day is Banana Fish. A manga that I did not read the tags of, a bit stupid yes hahah. Banana Fish will remain the saddest manga I've personally ever read. I read the ending around 1am and sobbed my heart out. 2 reply
I am 26. If I had to give someone advice I would say go for what you want but don't destroy someone else in the process. You don't have to rush in life because everything you want will come to you as long as you work hard for it especially if your the one that is meant to have it. My motto, to be honest, is everything happens for a reason and if yo...... reply
This may sound weird but if I could go back I would change only certain things especially if I could remember what I already went through. I think I would change from the moment I hit 13 to 18. I pretty much agree with you on this. Most Korean Webtoons tend to dive more into the plot, compared to most BL manga.
I still appreciate BL manga of course, and I do enjoy it to some degree, but my reaction nowadays tends to be like this:

I'm 100% on the manga side.
I used to like webtoons, as it's so colorful and lovely. but well maybe because I grew with manga, I'm more used to the Japanese stories as well as their culture. here is more reason why I choose manga :
1st, I don't really like Korean webcomics panel.
2nd, the characters are rarely lovable (in my opinion), like how the...... 1 reply
I'm someone who loves a good plot so it fluxuates. But typically manga, I think the main allure of webtoons is their longevity and diverse art styles; they go on much longer than your typical BL manga and the art can be gorgeous. That's probably why I've noticed webtoons taking over the BL game here, because people can invest more when there's so m...... reply
Korean/Chinese BL is much more realistic and has much less random rape and noncon used just for purposes of putting two characters together. I can think of more than one famous manga/anime where this is used often and its gross. *cough*Junjou Romatica *cough*

I prefer Korean webcomics, they're a lot deeper, less cliche, and there's a lot of character depth, the characters tend to be more expressive as well. JP BL tends to follow the same cookie cutter stories, the story and character depth is superficial, you very rarely come across a really memorable one.
Despite that I enjoy both, but I'm favourable ...... 1 reply
