i'm 17, female, asian, a college student, living in indonesia. i'm definitely straight but i can't say that i'm not curious about kissing girls before (i haven't even kissed a dude but wtv). actually i've tried to kiss my sister in her sleep before but then i stopped, thinking that why would i waste my first kiss on her no way reply
tbh i found yaoi from kpop fandom since i only read detective conan before. i was around 11 when i discovered it and i began reading yaoi fics when i was 12. i used to be like "NOOO" when i saw a bxb pairing of the anime i watched and i don't really remember the first time i liked it. i think it was around the time i watched kurobasu and i ship kag...... reply
before i knew what anime and manga is, doraemon is the first manga i read. im not very sure about the first anime i watched but it was either dbz or yugioh reply
I don't mind gay romance, most of my friends are in the LGBTQ+ community, and I also have a girlfriend. I do know that my friend(straight) supports LGBTQ+ but he doesn't like yaoi or yuri. reply
I prefer yaoi and I find it so hot.... I don't even have any interest in straight mangas or novels anymore (so far gone)....as for yuri, I'm just like mehh...though I have no problem with it ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ 2 reply
I really in love with yaoi and never thought of it disgusting at all.Even if i see a real life gay couple,i would be happy because i never met them before.Well, sometimes i recall yaoi sex in manga and laugh at it.IDK,i just think it's funny for me especially when seme lick the butt.(▰˘◡˘▰)

PS. If you don't want to read the long reply, with bits of sarcasm, julp to last paragraph.
PPS. Yes, I'm putting PS's on top, and no, it's not post script but prescript. xD
Long ago(Since this is about stories xD), I read lots of "normal" romance stories, you know, the love between a man and woman, even though I'm gay. (Please refrain from se...... 1 reply
I know people read a lot of yaoi/ yuri, but I want to know what you really think of it. Do you love the story because it's fiction but are disgusted about it in real life? Do you think it's beautiful or do you just read it for the smut?
I am asking this because I have met people who had contrary opinions about yaoi/ yuri in fiction and real life (I know, it's weird) ( ̄へ ̄) I don't know how anyone could have that thought, though #-.-)
18 year old female somewhere in south Asia. Been reading yaoi for 3 years now. Started with Junjou Romantica (which I totally fell in love with). Switched to manga, light novels, and english gay romance novels since there are not enough animes. I read yaoi to pass the time. A lot of my close friends (and my mom too) know that I read yaoi. How graph...... reply
I was going to try to explain this but as I was typing my thought process down I realised how ridiculous it all sounded. Hell even as a guy myself I couldn't possibly know.
I remember some weird articles floating around a few years ago about how all women are bisexual to some extent but I have no idea if that's true or not. Maybe it's just due to...... 1 reply
i think youre generalising? i mean i have read some of the bl (and gl) mangas together with a straight friend of mine during highschool and he wouldnt be grossed out? i mean even if he did he mustve been hiding it really well bc he would always tell me about updates lmao. also my brother isnt grossed out when he sees or reads together with me but h...... 4 reply
Nothing will come out of this, if you dont at least get him to know your feelings. Try to find out something your both into... Then casually walk up to him and ask about it. Bring a friend with you, if you're too nervous to do it yourself. Try also to make a mutual friend, so its easier to talk to him. Hang out with him, become his friend, then tel...... reply
Story as old as time... Women are known, since early historic docs, to be much more sexually... "flexible" than men. Even now a days, its considered "normal" for a woman to have had at least one same sex sexual interaction before she hits 30. Men, on the other hand, arent as accepting to "trying" and "exploring" as women are, and even physical cont...... 1 reply
I am a straight girl and I am a yaoi lover. I did try looking through a few yuri and it just was not my thing. It's not like I hated it, but I didn't find the same enjoyment in it.
Something like this all boils down to personal tastes and such. I know a few people who are straight girls and love yuri and they don't get how I can like yaoi. It...... 1 reply
I think i was around 12, 13 maybe? It was so funny!! Imagine a 12 yr brat reading gay porn in form of comic, who still hasn't have her first kiss. I was traumatized, but with the time I came to love it!! reply
Im a straight female and I'm not a fan of yuri. It usually boils down to most people Who are straight are attracted to the opposite sex no matter if it's hetero porn gay porn of the opposite sex. If you don't have an attraction to the same sex it makes sense you don't get any sort of arousal or enjoyment from your sex having sex with each other. 1 reply
So the thing is, for a while now I have this huuuuge crush on this guy, but he's cute and I'm shy and I have no connexion whatsoever to him. But he's the kind of really sweet and cute and kind person, you know ? like somehow if you go talk to him he won't be rude and will keep talking with you somehow. But even so.... It's been a while since I'm in love with him (I got it rlyyyyy bad) and there's only a few month until we'll quit high school but I rly want to be in touch with him bc I rly don't want to give up on him. The few times we talked were nice and I know we would at least be friend bc we're not rly different you see ? we just need to talk a bit.... But it's rly hard for me to go talk to him, we don't rly hang out with the same people and he's rarely alone on his own. I thought about talking to him on facebook but like what do I say ??? I mean, my problem is, how do you go and talk to people that aren't your friend ? How do you make friend with people ? What should I say to start a conversation with him ? Or maybe, should I directly go to him and tell him I like him ? Wouldn't it be weird ??
