I accidentally found Yaoi (5 years ago going 6)
My first impression was like this (⊙…⊙ ) Σ(っ°Д °;)っ ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭(≧∀≦)
The special feeling that I get while I read Yaoi is that I can run away from all Reality and sometime I could relate and sometime I just imagine to be them, I mostly love the storylines of Yaoi it's just di...... reply
I'm thinking about joining a summer course held by the place where I'm taking my Japanese class. It should be on June next year in Osaka but I'm still not 100% sure because you know it's kind of really expensive (/ ╥v╥)/ 1 reply
I once made one of the stupidest mistakes in my life. It was after finals, and I hadn't slept for two days because of all the studying. I tried to sleep, but couldn't get tired. So I decided to watch an anime. WRONG CHOICE. I started to watch Peach Girl at around 9:30 PM. But the series was about a love triangle that really got on my nerves. I wan...... 3 reply
You might already know this one, but just in case. I call this the "moody pillar" manga. Kouun No Rihatsushi.

I'm half Japanese and have family over there. Was there over a year ago in September 2015 with my then 16 yo daughter. It was easy for us because we stayed with family and everything was taken care of for us, but I do have a recommendation. If you aren't fluent in Japanese and you have a smart phone, I suggest purchasing a dictionary app. I have...... reply
Right now, my answer will be "Moritat". That manhwa is damn brilliant like if it gets animated, the mind-fuckery will be double the pain to your poor little brain and you're gonna start having trust issues by the end of it. 1 reply
"Rutta To Kodama" or "Out of Control"
I like how they each show a different perspective of it. RTK was the first Yaoi I've read who had a Tsundere as seme and it was mostly slapstick, even if I could see the problems there.
OoC was really fascinating. Bullying, Love and other things were really awful there and the protagonist is not really as hand...... 3 reply
Oh, YES. I'm a 48 yo fujoshi who reads yaoi, spent my early years in Japan so I love anime and all things Japanese, I love horror movies, sci-fi, fantasy, and Donatello from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Now go back 10 years to when my kids (now 18 & 22) were in karate and other home school activities. Me. In the middle of all those karate and...... 1 reply
I feel out of place almost all the time. And usually is fault of my sense of humor. I mean, my sarcasm is really acid and I am terribly ironic, ppl usually don't catches what I want to mean... or even that I am joking and I am not talking seriously ( ° ^ ° ;)
Is hard because I like joking around about everything like and idiot and I can't. No on...... 3 reply
YES! I go mostly by description though since I'm very picky about my plots. For the cover, I don't like reading mangas with very feminine ukes that it really is almost trap. And sometimes you can tell by the cover if it has typical BL shoujo-ish atmosphere or the more realistic/slow romance that I like~ But i prioritize the description/plot/story o...... 1 reply
of course, the first impression is very important, not just the manga cover but also the people, even if we say we shouldn't judge a book by its cover, we still do, it's natural reply
Of course, I'm a superficial bastard when it comes to that. If the cover didn't catch my attention, I won't read it. But I've ran out of pretty covers so now I check ugly ones too :P And if I consider cover and art in general pretty, I'll read ANYTHING. You could lure me into reading population statistics if it had good art. 1 reply
I'd think of myself at my best to be a very social person, I can get along with most people and am at friendly terms with most of the people I know but I have a really, really hard time making meaningful friendships. I, for a majority of my life, didn't know how to interact with people since my family moved a lot and kept mostly to themselves. I do...... 1 reply
'Things' are your daily life experiences by which you get to know the world around you. Tell others about the things you did, may it be cool, sad, crazy or funny. You can also find things that you might want to do and a friend to do it with!
