So the female lead is the actual worst. I couldn’t even finish it beyond a few pages because she is the worst. I literally came on here to make a comment, I said to myself I know it’s gonna work out I just don’t need to see it. She decides because he sent an email to her he mentioned a woman, so this girl because she’s not a woman she’s like a little spoiled brat, she decides I’m gonna raise the baby on my own and not tell anyone who the father is and then when it comes out she doesn’t try to clarify the situation and ruins, or nearly ruins the relationship between both of their families. Because she decided. And it’s not liking other harlequin stories where the female leads in those don’t tell the fathers. Because usually there is the misunderstanding he thinks she cheated she can’t get a hold of him he left she’s afraid he’s going to take the baby away. But none of that is shown to be even an England of what could happen in this story she’s just a horrible person. So this was terrible I could not finish it because she was so unbelievably arrogant, so unbelievably self-absorbed that only in the first few pages I knew exactly her character type and was just not interested. And the thing is that it made no sense to not tell him because he is her friend. He is her best friend, she could’ve told him and said look if you don’t wanna be in this I’m gonna still have it I’m just not gonna tell anyone who the father is. Or they could’ve come to an agreement but she decided not to give him the chance to know or have a voice in this because God forbid he mentions a woman to his friend in an email? She is the absolute worst. Her character, and I don’t know if it’s like this in the novel but I bet her character is the type that would hold that kid over the father’s head if he did anything wrong. I don’t even know if I wanna go and find the novel just for clarification but I don’t think I’m wrong. She must be worse in the novel
The situation with the fl's friend and ex was sus to me. Is it natural to get with your friend's exes? I personally don't think I can do that. But it's whatever. The ml kind of annoyed me with his inability to speak up and the fl annoyed me with her inability to shut tf and listen.
Okay, bad manga!! The FL is so dumb and arrogant that she does not listen to anyone and made things worse by being selfish and inconsiderate to the ML, her family and ML family!! If she would have shut up and think more she wouldn’t be in a shitty situation. The ML needs to be more honest with the FL with his feelings especially with the whole suzanna thing, he made his situation messier for not telling FL the truth! And I didn’t like FL ex-boyfriend bc after 2 years he dumped her but still try to act like her friend which is fucking weird and what’s weirder is he’s engaged to FL friend at the end of the story. tbh Idc if my friend is a good friend to me, if she starts dating my ex boyfriend and getting engaged to him than I would fucking cut ties with them bc I ain’t no bitch that can be easily manipulated and be happy for them!!
