I'm genuinely surprised on the mature take the story has on divorce, cheating, and the effect it all has on children.
Honestly, I personally feel people jump to divorce in situations where it's not warranted because of their own selfishness. However in this case, it's the exact opposite. The wife puts her husband and her daughters needs above her own. Even when the cheating is revealed her first priority is apologizing to her daughter for raising her in a dysfunctional home, which I respect a lot.
Another thing that I respect is that the author made it a point to not chastise the mothers way of thinking by implying that she's weak for tolerating the husband's abuse and neglect for so long. Rather, the manga portrays her as a strong mother figure who is selfless and prioritizes the needs of others, which is the textbook definition of a heroine.
I do find it funny that in the manga everyone is calling her weak, not very strong willed, and plain because she prioritizes doing the right thing. She's surrounded by horrible people, and horrible people feel the need to tear down good people and their self esteem to justify their own existence. Especially that mistress.
All in all, the mother ends the story being respected and loved by her daughter and STILL wishes for her daughter and ex husband's relationship to be repaired because she doesn't wish destruction upon anyone, even those who wronged her.
She's a queen.

it's such an annoying yet this is just how it is in real life. divorce was difficult especially when there's a child involved. we will never know how they feel & I hope we would never have to know how it feels

Mom passed away first and dad was heartbroken and he followed her. Took me time to realized that we're human beings, imperfects we make mistakes. Cheating hurts but I forgave dad, probably he was in love for a shirt time o he was lonely but my mom was his soulmate
