A world where human and beastmen live that, but humans got oppressed because the king (a beast man) got betrayed by his human lover and decided to make a law to make life a living hell for all humans.
Anyway, I thought this was gonna be on the lighthearted side despite the heavy story because of the plot execution so far, but nope. When the king finally decided to make things right, he went missing with his new lover (his former lover's child :0). so instead of dying because you were a shitty person. They're traveling and witnessed the damage first hand, the people who got their loved ones taken and their lives ruined, their curses and malice. They're experiencing all that while having to hide their identity or they're getting jumped on. It's a constant hell on earth and I agree that death might just be an easy way out.
Rating based on ch 1-13 ONLY. Three couples. First, more wholesome like licking hidden wounds as they get together. Second, more bdsm from both strong personalities. Third, more tragic and brainless and overall most influential to the story's setting (absolutely hated them).
I don’t understand why the others comment say it’s good, it’s NOT, ok?! The characters and plot are written poorly. The story focused more on the characters’ selfish love rather than actually solving the root cause of the problem which is racial discrimination, slavery, and no respect to life. It eventually ended getting solved by talk-jutsu which doesn’t make sense. If it was that easy to solve through talking then it should have been solved long ago already. The mc was made to be a literal damsel in distress. He has an OP power but never tried to understand it or tried to control it because he is too scared. It could have been used to save others and solve problems but it was never used that way in the story at all. They did try to use it to not let the king make a massacre but the mc has to be forced to actually try using it and in the end it was still useless. What was even the point of the mc having such a power? To make his back story miserable? It was too useless because he never tried to use it for good. It never served its purpose in the whole story. I don’t usually comment but I just had to. The story is so bad that I was forced to write a review so that others will open their eyes.
