Of all the parts of this accursed series, this is the only one I genuinely like. The characters are all well written, there’s drama but nobody is evil except maybe Ben who is just a piece of garbage throughout all of the stories in this series.Sam, Sam have good intentions but she pushed a little hard every time they were on the phone, I liked her though. I like everybody in this I don’t dislike anyone, I think like I said they’re all well written fairly well written. I think that Joss is the cutest one here. I don’t feel any negative feelings towards this one I’m very surprised, because this series is full of evil horrible people and horribly written characters. Out of this accursed series I will say this is probably gonna be the only good one. Unless they cover Jenny and John, because there are all of these that I’ve read for this year is Jenny and John has been the best characters overall as reoccurring characters. We didn’t see John in this one though which was unfortunate. But I like him still

Isn't the ML is just a rapist?! Like seriously? He kept on sexually attacked her and suddenly she fall in love?! What is this? Stockholm syndrome (but without the cage)?!! Is the author trying to say that kind of shit is a seduction???!!! Serious question. If a man forced a girl to bed and because he's good (bleergghh), the girl enjoyed it ; will it not be rape anymore?
The ML was a self-righteous sexual abuser. I won't say he was a rapist, but it was close. In all their dealings, he either treated her like a criminal or like a sex object (or, more succinctly, like a sperm receptacle). As to the rest of this "aristocratic dynasty," all of the males seemed to be toxic, misogynistic alpha-holes, except for Joss, who was the only ray of light in that foul broth of testosterone ridden scumbags.
