The kingdom is being attacked by demons and the emperor and his citizens are desperate for cure. As a halfblood, the MC is forced to become a sacrifice in the ritual to summon an ancient god. According to the myth, she will be sacrificed and ripped to shreds. The MC begs for her life but the emperor coldly dismisses her. She is cast into the stone fault where she suffers unimaginable pain only she awakes some time latter in a luxurious bed surrounded by all the people who used to bully her. The ancient god has become bound to her. He feels her pain and would cease to exist if her body were destroyed.

FL is the poor whiney victim while the villains are very bad baddies who exist solely to belittle her... Everything is very over the top, she's a very weak character, ML isn't that interesting looking or in character... After thirty something chapters, FL still a whiney mess. Abandoning ship.

I'm not a fan of the fl...ik she has been abused by basically everyone and that her personality can't just change or develop just like that but like her facial expression that they describe as cold and her fighting back is to meek and she looks afraid all the time. If I was her I would take revenge man...but that's just me (T_T)

I’m not going to lie, the main character very much irritates me. Her personality is annoying and her sister gets on my nerves. Not what I expected and kind of boring to be honest
The only positive thing I can say about this is that the ML is hot… but not hot enough to ignore everything else. The MC is weak and barely has any personality - which isn’t a sin in itself if you like that kind of thing, but her personality changes so suddenly in a way that is pretty unrealistic and underdeveloped. She goes from being abused to apathetic and suddenly everyone is talking about the fierce look in her eyes even though her eyes are literally dead fish eyes lmao. Everyone here is just one dimensional with absolutely no sense or personality besides their one assigned trait: MC is innocent and sweet, the Emperor is mean and an idiot, the Princess is mean and an idiot, etc etc etc.
I mean good stuff, but I feel so bad for this girl she deserves the whole world okay so I was about to give the sister a chance... yeah she gonna catch these fucking hands!
I really do like this webtoon even though there's so much miscommunication. Though I do understand where the FL is coming from and why she is too scared to ask for help when it's needed due to years of torment and abuse. I am loving to see her grow as a person though.
