so this finally finished but i've been reading it for so long, spread over so many years, that i cannot recall the specific parts i enjoyed or the developing relationship in any real detail. the exploration of kabuki and japanese culture was interesting and the characters were cute, if childish (they're high schoolers so,) might need a re-read to fully digest this. enjoyed that the mc played so many female roles hehe

it was so good, i want to see them more.
I wanted for someone to know the grandfather's situation. I guess it would have been too hard to include, It was such a beautifully heartbreaking situation. It was so bittersweet, and i'm so glad their grandsons had a different fate. I cried several times for the grandfathers, haha
