A really well told story about two people who find each other amongst society conflict and intrigue. A prince with a really bad reputation becomes curious about a fallen noble girl from the country they find themselves married in the chaos but can a marriage last based on a bet and debt?

The story has a lot of heart and looks at emotions realistically. You'll see both their sides as you read. It's enjoyable but also sad and filled of really sweet moments.

This manhwa, solche as the writer to be exact, is a hit or miss for everyone bc the writer always makes the ML trash lol, BUT you cant say her work is bad. Its actually delivered, so MUCH, that you cant help but hate how human everyone is in the story. It pulls ur heart string, the emotional turmoil of every character is well spoken. Bjorn reminds me of damian from betrayal of dignity. Honestly, gw curious how solche writes a green flag character...

If you squint you'll see that this is actually a horror story not a romance. A tale about how misogyny ruined a girl's life, a reminder that women in the past had to stay in abusive marriages because they had no other choice Ladies, never ever take your hard-earned rights for granted!

ending is a little abrupt... it's not the most abrupt ending I've seen, but the reconciliation arc didn't feel complete to me.

Slowburn, regretful and angsty

The FL is naive and a bit of a doormat, but honestly, I understood why she acted that way. Given her circumstances, she felt indebted and grateful to him, so I didn’t really mind it. What I loved most was seeing her eventually stand up for herself and learn to value herself

The ML is trash, but somehow I still feel like he’s not as bad as some of the other red-flag MLs I’ve read. His disrespect and & his complete lack of communication were so frustrating.

Story progression was really good, and I don’t think there was any particularly boring part. I really enjoyed this one! I think I just needed a break from romantasy, and this was exactly what I was looking for.
