the anime is also really good. obvi they dragged this series out a lot but its got some really good gags

this may have some stupid comedy but the story is actually intense. also its finished!! this had me hooked and laughing the whole time.

the first half of the story is pretty pure but the second half gets a little smutty (and it is not like, sexy smut. its comedy smut?? is that a thing???)
i also find his ridiculously small feet really funny in some of the art (the anatomy is a little hm)

so this one sits thoroughly in the 'fucked up' category, i debated adding it, and it is like 3/4s smut. but i can genuinely say I READ THIS FOR THE PLOT. approach this like watching a really bad movie to make fun of it
it is mostly a dubcon/noncon bad 80s porn plotline with porn logic

yeah so i actually didn't like this manga at first, but then i watched the anime and got super hooked?? so i would actually recommend the anime over the manga (this may be the only time i ever say this). its very sweet + i love anya's expressions

it is an incredibly slow burn so if you are actually wanting them desperately to be together and not, like me, laughing at how incompetent they are 90% of the time, this may be the wrong story for you

totally juvenile, ridiculous, over the top characters
they actually ended the season on a the biggest reveal of all time...... ;)

I think if you read this as a serious story, it's probably pretty bad. but I honestly think this story is HILARIOUS
