The story takes its sweet time to develop and has fantastic pacing and good character development. Added props from me for having a fairly mature attitude towards things like casual sex and moving past old relationships, and old boyfriends are not treated as serious existential threats. Just an all-around excellent read if you're in the mood for a straightforward, well-executed and satisfying romance.
Has all the trappings of your typical superficial antagonistic love story with hyperbolic characters and a lot of really questionable actions that are played off (successfully, for the most part) for comedy. Also seamlessly integrates humanizing details, themes, and backstories without getting too bogged down. Here is some poignancy and depth in what is otherwise an absurd, sexy romp on the high seas.
Reminded me a little bit of romantic screwball comedies from the 40s (only without the slapstick), with the miscommunications and general trajectory of the plot. The characters are perfect; just complex enough to make the story incredibly compelling and fun to read. Basically a solid and standard story with a few characters that are slightly against type for the genre. Highly recommended if you're in the mood for a well-written, character based workplace drama that feels a little more adult.
This story really is a treat; even if you, like me, would not normally seek out a story that seemingly flirts with incest, this is worth a read. Absolutely no rape/dubcon (nothing starts until he is a 19 year old college student).
It's a difficult read at times, but it made me genuinely feel for both characters and didn't creep me out. Incredible as it is, I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a more serious and somewhat somber romance with a happy ending and some real complexity and ambiguity. No rape/dubcon (except for the fact that one of the characters is 17).
This is really a delightfully farcical manga. It's lighthearted, cute, and funny as hell. The main character is particularly delightful to watch.
Recommended if you're in the mood for a school boy story that is fast paced and comedic and have a high tolerance for misunderstandings that, really, could have been cleared up pretty easily. The art is fantastic too.
A well paced manga that doesn't overstay its welcome, with a neat plot arc and a story that merges a (small) degree of psychological realism) with (a lot of) genuine tenderness. Both character are defined enough for the purposes of the narrative, and both are very likeable in their own way. This is not a story to read for the exhilaration of first love, and it is all the better for it; instead, the manga opts to show two people who are trying to heal and move on from their pasts.
The manga is atmospheric and quietly intense. It is sci fi, but we see the world only in small glimpses, since fundamentally the story is a small, domestic tragedy, not a sweeping epic. It incidentally raises questions about machine intelligence and personhood that are never really explored, but, again, that's not really the point of the narrative. Recommended if you want a really well-done if strange abuse story that transitions into love with a lot of porn in the interim.
This is an eccentric little manga, with a tone of gentle comedy shot through with deep melancholy. It's a bit of a gut punch, but still maintains its light heartedness and dream-like quality. It's really not to be missed; recommended if you're in the mood for something a little strange but a lot beautiful.
Says it's unfinished, but the arc has a satisfying conclusion. Meditative story that focuses on the interior life of the closeted college student, who struggles to sort his feelings in the context of a long standing pattern with this man where they have sex with no strings attached. Gently melancholy w/the pacing & feel of a well-written romantic comedy, Recommend if you're looking for a manga with a focus on the inner life of one character a relatively mature understanding of casual sex.

Thanks so much! I am so glad someone finds them helpful. <3
I should also add that there is a part II to this list, since I exceeded mangago's upper limit of 200 titles ( http://www.mangago.me/home/mangalist/386203/)
You did a great list. The reviews are good and a good compilation of completed manga. You know I don't have to wait for the next update ;-)
Ah sorry I somehow missed this message! Thanks for the feedback. I am so happy that I can make the obscene amount of time I spend reading, rating and reviewing manga helpful to others. ^.^ Happy reading!
Wow your list is awesome and just asking (cause I'm pretty stupid , sorry) if all of the stories are completed(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Not a stupid question at all! I always get annoyed when people rec incomplete manga. They're all finished. ^.^ There might be one or two that are marked as incomplete, but if I put them on this list it means that the story is wrapped up.
Oh thanks , btw I really like your list, it matches my taste ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
