Young man, Horikita Mei, in the process of rescuing a kitten from a tree, ends up falling on an older man, Akihiko, and breaking his glasses. Mei decides to work off the debt at the shop where Akihiko is employed, and from there arises the tension of a love in the making.
A happy young man surrounded by women and a young man who feels burdened by fate. Just when they might find happiness together, they are ripped asunder through the jovial young man's over-reactive mother to an accident. Eventually, it all works out, but it takes years. It's got its cute parts, it's got annoying parts, and it's got 'wow, how dumb' parts, which come together in a decent story.
Omegaverse. An omega suddenly goes into heat on a crowded street, recipe for disaster, but he is rescued by a determined alpha, who is only there to help. When the suppressant kicks in and the omega's head clears, he realizes he's just encountered his destiny, only the alpha is resistant. Now, to prove himself worthy, the omega joins the alpha's talent agency and strives to become great in his work as well as garner the attention of the one he loves.
A young man traumatized by an ex lover spends his life meddling in the love lives of others, then gets kicked by a horse. (Or sometime like that) Okay, not literally, but his shenanigans come back to kick him in the ass when he finally finds love again. It ends on a happy note, though, so it's a sweet read.
Part 2 of the above.
Childhood friends who chose the love of friendship over sexual intimacy. One married while the other remained in an unrequited state, then when the wife left for another man, abandoning both husband and child, the two friends moved in together to ease the burden of single parenthood. Only then can could they come to terms with what they truly mean to one another. It's cute. (This is more a sweet snack than a spicy meal.)
When work interests collide on a friendship that wants to blossom into more. It's a refreshing dive into a real world issue, and sweet how they manage to work it all out and be happy.
The physical aspect of this starts quickly, but it takes some time for these two emotionally stunted people to voice their issues and admit they love each other. One admits his homosexuality, but is reticent to openly declare it (Understandable). The other has never dated a man and has severe trust issues, as he once felt betrayed by someone whom he loved and believed in (Understandable). Still, having sex does not a relationship make, so communicate!
An author running from himself returns to his deceased grandmother's house and meets a dragon who hope to claim him as a bride. They have their ups and downs, sweet and scary moments, acceptance and, finally, there is love.
A kid who can see the red strings of fate has never had his attach to anyone, until one day he notices the string leading off in the direction of his crush. When he follows it, it is not the girl he has a thing for, but a handsome guy instead and he is smacked with an 'Oh hell no' moment. He fights his burgeoning attraction, cuts his string, but to no avail... It is fated love.
