a) what kind of crack is the editor smoking to ask for BL about periods
b) what went wrong in her life to get THIS plot from the prompt about periods??
kind of scarring, heavy and intensely bittersweet, not sure how I feel
Is much more in line with non-genre dramatic manga to the point where this is barely BL, and I hate that
syundei
the range ... pedophiles, again
disturbingly good, like I hate how good this is for omegaverse
the power dynamic is so fair and the chemistry so obvious
the way he talks about how hard it was to be an omega - to take a pill everyday and be afraid to walk alone at night - but that it wasn't just limited to omegas - what sly gender commentary right there
cover story is well executed and delightfully melancholy
sci-fi one shot
5/5 the gap moe in this is so strong and so to my liking
second couple...hope they do get a continuation
part of erotoro
The art is... quite honestly something else.
Why does she apologize for writing stories about gay men, but not about Frenchmen or Russians, etc. ?
Whose idea was this? Definitely one of my favorite anthologies just for its sheer absurdity and nerve. No theme or genre or style in common at all, just cigarettes.
-- quitting bad habits, the time it takes for one cigarette, addiction, longevity, sex appeal, comfort, sharing
In the same category as 'tonari ni' and others about salarymen struggling with staying human and release valves. takes being gay a bit seriously, but wow is it a woman-hating narrative. On entering the workforce: "The amount of unreasonable absurdity is exhausting"
List idea: black companies as narrative forces, but can only think of a few (monster within?)
