If you know the traditional story of the monkey king from Asian literature, then maybe you know this series. Its a group of people who were all shunned from society in their own ways and let the bromance catch your heart
A prince with a curse goes on a journey with his retainer to search for a sword so that he can succeed the throne. But will they succeed in their quest..?
I wonder if anyone remembers this one. This was one of those stories that (personally) started off very strong, then started to get weaker later on. Then there were many delays since there were many side projects, games, etc. etc. Overall, I'm not even sure if this series will ever end- or if it ever ended. O.o
Pretty much everyone knows Detective Conan but here goes: Shinichi Kudo is a high school detective that swallowed a mysterious pill that turned him into a kid! Now with the alias of Edogawa Conan, he stays with his childhood sweetheart Ran Mori and her *ahem* not so impressive dad Kogoro Mori in hopes of finding the men in black that gave him the pill.
What if you had the power to turn trash into trees? What if you are involved in a battle where there are a 100 different gods- and you have to use your power so your god can be crowned as king? If you enjoyed Zachbell/Gashbell, you'll enjoy this one.
One Piece is pretty famous as well and its still ongoing as well. Started off as a funny adventure and now its blown up with more crew members, adventures, tearful stories, and overall an emotional journey. Want to be King of the Pirates?
The story focuses on an eccentric samurai, Gintoki Sakata, his (partial) apprentice Shinpachi Shimura, and a teenage alien girl who's from one of the strongest races in existence: Kagura. All three are "free-lancers" search for work in order to pay the monthly rent. If you want to see Samurais fighting aliens, you'll enjoy this one
A famous classic. Brothers Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric tried to revive their dead mother and had to pay the price. Everything is an "Equivalent Exchange" if you want to use alchemy. It was a strong contender against Once Piece and Inuyasha back in the day. It still holds a precious part of my childhood.
There was something about MLs that appeared arrogant, but actually cares about his friends and family- even though he shoes himself as a gruff person. Similar to the male lead from Gakuen Alice, Natsume Hyuga. If you like sports manga, then you'll def enjoy this one.
Here is a stray Black Cat, Train Heartnet, once known as the best assassin but now he works as a bounty hunter. This was my first introduction into how obsessed a Yandere can be. Pretty fun with all them gun fights and comedic moments.

Gegege no kitarou?
Added to the list! Gonna read to remember what this manga was about soon.
Apologies to anyone who sees changes in this time and time again. I am very slowly adding in updates and adding in more stories in here for anyone who might be interested in reading more nostalgic, older series of manga. Please let me know if there's any mangas I forgot to add in, and please enjoy!
