Like the few who mentioned, I really don’t think he deserves to be treated as the worst asshole in the world. Not saying he wasn’t being an absolute jerk to Dojin when he found out about their relationship though. Dojin had every right to confront Taehwan and address his behavior. I bet a lot more understanding will come to play once we learn what triggered Taehwan’s trauma, but it’s not an excuse to hurt or cut off other people if the other person is actually innocent (and another victim to top it off).
Taehwan did realize he made a mistake, and then he made it right for them. Taehwan has redeemable qualities.
As for Yeonwu... let me say if I too had internalized Taehwan’s trauma and undergone the same experience, I would react almost the same way. And no, Yeonwu didn’t commit the worst crime to deserve death threats. The broken trust just makes more sense.
I don’t fully blame Yeonwu for acting rashly because he was a kid who made a simple mistake and doesn’t know what Taehwan’s been through. There are actions that cannot be forgiven, but this is a forgivable one.
Taehwan is complicated and that’s what makes it interesting as well as relatable for me.
