I'm not feeling this story at all.

I'm dropping this at 36 because I can't believe how conveniently the author resolved the conflict with a "sorry I have a disorder". I'm done with this moppy ass uke being the biggest emotional idiot I've seen. So he plays with your feelings and hurts you and you decide to jump in front of a knife for him. What are you, some cliched drama protagonist?

I see a lot of people finding this realistic and you know what? Fine. Great you are enjoying this. I just don't understand how can this still be relatable when the guy is like "I have a disorder". Is it common? Idk if I hears this from a fuckboy, is think hes just shitting in me to get into my pants. It would be more acceptable to me if he was just a regular fuckboy who learned the error of his ways. Would that make it no different than other BLs? Sure, not like it's it's any more unique rn.

I personally have an issue with angst being resolved quickly and the couple getting back together faster than a bullet train. Angst where the issue can be resolved with a simple talk is trash (still nice tho) but you have such a nice story track, prepped and lubed for you to stretch and flesh out (sorry about that) to make a great regret/Redemption arc and you just casually blame it on Dojae's health and make Euntak dumb (the first 26 chap were hard too)

Maybe Dojae gets some retribution in further chapters. Maybe Euntak grows two more braincells. Maybe I shouldn't be so quick with me judgement but I'll never know cause I'm not going to wait for it. To the ones who love this manhwa, good for you. Hope you have a great read. It's just that's it's 4am in the morning here and I seriously regret losing sleep for this manhwa

Euntak starts to grow one but it almost immediately dies

Oh god, the level of "i relate to this so much" in this comment. Idky i held unto it until end of pt2 coz i was rooting for Euntak's articulate arguments and how the author will flesh out Dojae. But you're right, euntak becomes dumb and its gonna be to highlight Dojae's disorder.

    1. Dojae used his disorder to justify his actions (as much as the author, or maybe the translation, said "Dojae's misunderstanding is justified", a big ick there but another heartburn to fully think about) and he sincerely apologizes for this in his own enlightened way (compared to Euntak, tho, his character developed better lol)

    2. Euntak spirals further as an emotional idiot who will also be a major hypocrite who also prioritized his own understandings of the world while also using "its coz you dont understand!" on Dojae (he just lost his smartass clapbacks tbh but dares to lecture hyobin, but i guess we're all hypocrites IDK who am i to judge with the author's blatant intentions in their "afterword" for s2. I just think more work should be done on Euntak) just saying it sucks ass that he regresses into a worse idiot who doesnt self-reflect and apologized with a half-assed awareness despite expecting Dojae to be SUPER self-aware. It just boils down to his own desperate want to be with Dojae regardless.

    3. I just chilled and stopped at ch57 coz of Euntak saying, "we could just fight and make up again" because:
    A) it means theyll keep fighting and i'll keep feeling like Kharby stretching my arms to previous chapters and wishing i could slam their heads together
    B) at least we know these idiots will just crash into each other till the end coz its best to control the chaos to just both of them. Their intestines will be tied and tangled.
    C) its useless even trying to make sense of their relationship dynamic or the author's intentions coz fck it, it'll boil down to how far theyll "accept" each other and make it work.

After a few hours of sleep I've come to the conclusion that maybe this manhwa doesn't deserve all that hate from me. I understand the perspective it was written from and why people are enjoying this but for my own sake I'm not picking this up again. I thought I could also push like you and get over the 58 chaps no matter how stupid the storyline gets but it's such a lost opportunity when the author doesn't give us the character development (especially for Euntak) that was meant to be. And your reply tells me not a lot has changed (at least in the right direction). Idk I feel like the author half-assed the characters.

I never dropped Back to School. I remember being happy that the guy didn't chose the black haired ex-friend and the latter was held accountable for his actions. Really thought this author knew what they were doing but this manhwa is running in the opposite direction

Yeah, i think the author got so lost developing Dojae that they neglected Euntak.
