I mean it doesn't hurt anyone, yea there are fetishizers but they exist anyway without yaoi just like murders, rapist, pedos, etc will always exist. it really isn't as big of a deal as people make it out to be.. read whatever you want people will always judge. like how ill always judge thise weirdos on tt obsessed with dark romance..

as a yaoi reader myself . id agree that they are some crazy bl readers out there .

I think the problem isn’t really the people reading yaoi but rather the yaoi itself that just terribly depicts gay people and distorts the way we’re perceived.

yaoi tend to be more hardcore than bl but i personally dont see a difference seens both is boy x boy . bl is more on the soft side of things (not like shounen ai similar tho ) wise yaoi is more smutty

ooh if that's the case I wanted to say isn't that normal with romance in general? it'll always be depicted in a way to suit someone's fantasies which may or may not be realistic so I don't see it as a weak point necessarily, also I mean how else should Yaoi depict gay people? in the case that you're ONLY referring to those rapey bls then I understand no argument there but bl itself is a wide genre with many sub genres there is no right or wrong way to depict romance (unless it's something illegal obviously) from innocent honeymoon love to I'll follow you to the depth of hell love

IMO, I’ll iffy about it. Because I personally read BL, but yaoi is different. I just hate the weirdos who fetishize MLM people and or asians. And it’s not just the consumers who do ts, but also the creators so I just don’t like it overall I’m yapping sorry but I will judge anyone who enjoyed Killing Stalking (for example)
