If i remember correctly he loved Jubel dearly even in the past but bc of trauma it made him abandon her or rather let her live "freely" on her own thinking it would be for the best. The knife he gave her was for self defense while he would try and get her out of prison one way or another. He was devastating to find her body. He was (i believe) even the reason Jubel returned in the first place. I rly recommend you to pick it up again. The epilog just finished and i cried a river. Legis also didnt have it simple and seeing him heal and change is just so great. ╥﹏╥

You are correct. But left out that he promised the crown prince, who was everything the rumors say about him during that life to kill the king if he help his daughter. But was too late. When legis found out he wend on a killing spare including the ex and king. His family power allow them to make one wish that he use too bring her back

I kinda stopped reading this a while back so I wanted to ask, what did the father think of when he found her dead body in their previous lives? Was that ever adressed? Also did he apologize? Did Regis know?
