I thought abt this too, but I started thinking that maybe she meant it in “oh, this guy is supposed to be her victim but I’m stopping her from doing that—she might come for me” I feel it was a more fearful/scared for her life type of statement haha
Maybe it’s a concern of messing up the whole plot by marrying him - which is a common trope in these types of stories. Otherwise, yeah kinda confusing why she’s worried when he’ll die at the princess’ hands otherwise. I’m leaning towards her worried that the OG plot and timeline is now twisted and unpredictable and she might make the princess angry by taking a loyal worker idk.
She told us at the beginning that her favorite character ultimately dies at the hands of his lover, but she's scared that she's "stealing him away from her" even though the girl she's stealing from kills him. So wouldn't it actually be that she is saving him from death so why is she so scared?
