I love how Khalid is written. He was definitely that man in the play who dared to kill his beloved solely because he's afraid of telling her the truth. This was foreshadowed thrice now I guess. I really like how Khalid has this irrational obsessive personality to him. It really sets him apart from other antagonist I've read. Honestly, his story is ass and overall he's a big fat coward that implied this image of a guiding star to Estelle so he can stay sane. He's really a contradictory character and that's interesting. I'd love to do a character study on him but I'm afraid he really is just a loser afraid of his own shadow (dark) so he seeks out a light to blind himself. He plays really well in this story n I'll give the author a huge applaud for that! I do not justify his actions in any way though. He's stupid, touch starved and insufferable, great writing!
