He steals peoples abilities, which causes him to use more power he was injured, used all his abilities to save him not to mention that he’s a vampire who relies on blood for life force, but was not prepared for how much backlash because after they bond the werewolf blood that he’s been drinking does not give him the same fuel or taste he does not want to take all of his lovers blood or going to a bloodlust so he’s been holding back so he’s not as strong. He needs the MC‘s blood but doesn’t want to hurt him so he’s in quite the conundrum
