so i only found out about this manga now, and i am so fully invested in the story. BUT IT ONLY ENDS THERE? WHAT. i need more of them. this manga, by far, is so complex as not even a bl, but a queer-leaning one. it tackles the gay romance experience, self-acceptance and facing discrimination, acknowledging past love and present circumstances, and so much more that i can say. it's so well thought out and layered that i want more !!
by far one of my favorite mangas. out there. and to be honest, i see this as more of a coming-of-age manga than a bl. i love both yuiji and yamato and their unique perspective of things as a guy. especially yamato's, as a gay guy navigating through his unrequited feelings, self-love, and confronting prejudice and the past. yuiji, what i can describe of him is that he's so cool with his open-mindedness, approach to things, and awareness. if anything, i'd fall for him too eventually. i love slow burn, bu this one sure is taking it's sweet time, though i don't mind, as long as the relationship is gradual and natural (which is about to happen but oh well...)
i wish this gets continued. it is truly one of the good ones out there. highly recommend.
