I feel like either I'm reading it wrong or other commenters are. I don't see any deep emotional connection from the bottom yet. I see excitement. I see that he loves a challenge, he needs to "win" over someone stronger than he is. It's a thrill when he gets turned down because not many do. Most would be satisfied with tidbits and masturbating to the artwork of his debasement. Not MC though. And he likes that lol
