Been saying this for the longest time. Actually it took me a while to find another read because their relationship made me cry a little lol. People here just don't understand them because they're so hellbent tagging a character as a red flag or not..on top of it they don't even understand that's from MC's POV. Of course there are things that ML doesn't know...
Hi! Super super late I’m sorry!but this chapter is towards the middle and end of chapter 39 in the novel! Although tbh I would recommend reading all of it from the beginning bc there’s a lot of context and thought process/analysis from the mc that’s either completely erased or just glossed over in this adaptation!
Also I feel like a lot of it also has to do with complexity lol I feel like it’s very easy to label something complicated as a red flag or whatever so as to not have to think too hard lol… not that that’s a bad thing this is entertainment and everyone is allowed to have their opinions after all but a bit more thought and nuance adds depth to a story which in turn makes it better (for me! lol) but yes you’re totally right! The way they’re both flawed individuals and we see them both understand that and move forward together because and in spite of such issues and flaws was soooo good! The progress they made and that ending was so beautiful! The adaptation really doesn’t do the story and its details any kind of justice lol and yeesssss omg!like throughout the novel we understand that MC has some pretty intense internal issues but how is ML supposed to know that lmao nice to know someone also enjoyed the novel:))

I legit have withdrawal syndrome after done with the novel. Hahaha. I don't think manhwa adaptation would be able to capture that kind of complexity. Very rarely I read manhwa adaptation as good as the novel itself. Mainly because they have to focus more on the art style. So I guess in a way, it was being impacted in terms of story telling.
Been saying to people as well, the whole theme of the story is not about BDSM. People also keep focusing on that. Lee Seodan is truly a broken character who is lonely in many sense. But despite that he tried to survive in his own ways. Find his home with an unlikely person. That's the charm of the story. That's why it was being mentioned from his POV T.T
