I don’t think that was implied at all. It came across that way but I don’t think so because Ladius gave up on Reia way before Phinea was born. I think it’s another character.
That’s what got me it seemed very intentional and predatory with him smirking and then the slight blush as he grinned at a literal child if they were shown as a 19 year old and 26 I’d be more okay with it but as a 19 year old myself feel extremely uncomfortable with an age gap over a single year but that’s how I’ve always been even as a kid I only got romantically involved with people the same age a few months or just a single year age difference probably because I’ve had predators try to groom me as a kid around phinelles age so idk I just don’t like how they set up that ending atleast give him an age appropriate love interest and not a fucking prepubescent child cause nobody can tell me that isn’t a predatory relationship they are hinting to with a literal little girl and a young adult potentially even in their twenties I’m thinking 19 but who knows? icks me out as a teacher
