i have question, a genuine one and no hate, but can you point out the part where it was sexualized? I can't seem to find the problem since I just find it cute instead :D

I agree with kags here. While yes I think they're putting too much into the romance but there is no sexualization going on here. It's just childish, clumsy affection. It's a little too much at times but little boys can be just as pushy.
But it's Not sexual in anyway.
I think you're confusing the uncomfortableness of his pushiness with sexualization and seduction and those are just too different things.

So 4/5yrs old to my fellow 4/5 yr olds. I started actively flirting when I was 6/7 yrs old, my cousin who was younger called me out on it. Like why are you so flirty with that one classmate

I think it was the scene where shes asked about her type in men ans how it felt pretty implicated that stronger feelingsz were being implied?? Im not sure i just didnt feel the usual warm cozyness that this trope usually has.

Like lets take that one girl characyer from the lombardy family named firentia, and her relarionship with the prince in that story. Their character building together is cute compared to this in my opinion.

I know its a word vomit reply but maybe its because im in my 20s with my nephew beside me, i cant imagine a kid around his age to act like this.
