you got something against people loving other people? should a person only love and care for one person? does this line of questioning shake your entire belief system lmao i don't see the joke really. also, a harem usually entails unequal power dynamics and abuse. athy, lucas, and ijekiel's alt ending would be more of a polyamorous relationship
It’s because it’s not part of the ORIGINAL novel. The readers waited years for the side stories to get adapted so their frustrations are valid. Heck, even the korean readers were disappointed by spoon’s choices. The side stories they made was not bad (I was also overjoyed by the felily content) but it wasn’t what the readers expected especially when one of the stories was about lucas’ background and his growing family with athy.
I don’t think people would be this much disappointed for a “what if” scenario if it weren’t for the fact that spoon skipped Lucas’ story or just adapted the og side stories. The novel reader’s reactions are just as valid but I guess to some they’d think they’re ungrateful for showing frustrations and criticisms

Spoon makes the last chapter a harem AU where the reality is "perfect." Maybe Diane dying was a good thing after all. What a joke and waste of all my years spent reading.
