Agreed about the age gap. This is the only story where I even tolerate it. I also agree with awkwardness. I feel like cause Sharpe pretty much always has a stoic expression, chemistry sometimes just isn’t there. It doesn’t deliver emotion well
Exactly like I’m not a fan of large age gaps unless it’s over 25 so I was already a lil icked out but I loved the plot and appreciated the tenderness from sharpe. But yea you hit the nail on the head regarding sharpe’s interactions

I’m happy for the ending even tho it took forever. The relationship between them is still awkward to me tho considering the age gap.. and the intimacy seems forced sometimes but that’s in the lack of build up from previous chapters. Slow burn I love but it has to make sense and it has to be cohesive. But nevertheless I still like this story, it’s still different from others.
