Accidentally reread this but man, author might as well make mc a student instead of an adult if mc cant act like a grown up. I dun mean to say dat he has to suck it all up but as an independent person with their own money and means, mc is literally not utilizing the things he has. It's a waste of chara setting. Author just wanna write age gap just for the sake of it. I dun wanna be victim blaming but this is a poor chara setting 101 cuz i cant understand the logistic of mc's mindset eventho his inner thoughts are literally written on the page.
