The ML reminded me so much of Stanley Kubrick (The shining director) who infamously pushed Shelley Duval to continuously retake 127 times just to get the scene he wanted despite the actress great discomfort. If they weren't lovers and just project mates, MC might have furthered his trauma and quit acting altogether
