And with so many subjects from anime, and character songs, and manga covers, birth and death dates, names of both the characters, it's so freaking implied T_T

Gege is not homophobic but the country is. You saying he made Kirara trans means he could've made Satoru and Suguru canon is such a wild take bc Kirara isn't as main of a character as Gojo. Imagin the character everyone loves and is THE strongest....is gay? Shonen Jump would not even let it be published let alone JJK getting an anime. Since we know Shonen Jump is known for sabotaging gay relationships of the mangas published in their weekly Shonen Jump physical copies. Also being trans is much more accepted in JPN than being gay. Not saying trans people don't get discriminated but trans-ness is more of a gender orientation there rather than sexuality. They only are okay with the fictional element of gay couple/BLs. And it's a genre there, seperately, not to be added in any other otherwise action story, bc it's not like any other romance it's a genre in itself. JPN is a widely homophobic country despite the popularity of Yaoi/BL in JPN. Also, I was just commenting about He's inspiration never did I once say that he completely copied from this manga. But he has drawn fanart of this author's one of the other BLs, so....yeah. He's a fan of works of authors, and he comes off as someone who doesn't care about the genre if the story is good/art is unique. I was half joking when I said this can be taken as SatoSugu canon, and don't we all know it isn't confirmed by Gege? But despite that, there is so much evidence of SatoSugu that it just cannot be ignored. I personally think that SatoSugu is a "textual" ship and not canon, bc yes, author hasn't said anything about them, but at the same time, what stsg have going on is so deep and profound it DOES raise a question. And the random funfacts sprinkled all over the JJK manga, the reactions of theirs towards e/o, it just screams that there's something more. It's not just any other ship, like nobamaki or chosoyuki or even itafushi. There are just so many facts which did happen which Gege mentioned in manga, interviews, and he even was involved (idk to show much degree, but he was involved) in MAPPA's anime adaptation as well, and listened and was in good terms w/ OPs and EDs makers. So yes, SatoSugu is technically a ship, but it's not a crack ship, or a ship which has zero backing. Infact, it got so much receipts in its favour it's actually insane. I also ship itafushi but I would never say they're so "canon" despite them having some eyebrow raising moments (haha), but satosugu has depth, material to back up with, and just so much subtext, that bleeds into textual coding as well. It's just so impossible hard to ignore it, and the mental gymnastics to say it can be "another interpretation" is uh....idk, feels a bit homophobic to me. I mean, if you can think they're "brotherly" is a valid interpretation that's "almost" canon, then them being "romantic" is almost canon as well. If people have no problem reading them as bestest of bestest of bestest of friends, and brotherly coded, then idk....them having unrequited / unsaid feelings for each other is not that far to decode. But people get so scared of even interpreting them as lovers bc "oh it comes off as shipping culture" and "oh no those crazy fetishizer fujoshis" like, a straight couple who is NOT canon is widely considered canon and people who don't really into shipping also go "hmm...maybe they did have something more going on, I can see that" but a queer couple always going to have to go through a thick lens of "maybe they're just best friends/partners/brotherly" and they have to do something explicitly romantic and (sometimes) sexual to have them established as lovers, which is such a heteronormative lens. Im sick and tired of it. So, yes, it's not "canon" canon, but don't ever say it's not there. Because it's clear as day, genuinely.

Thank you for the passionate response but I don't think you understood me very well. Not everything that I said was reffering to your comment but the others in the thread as well and the general sentiment of "you can't say it's not canon" that a lot of stsg shippers have and would attack you over. My OTP is semi-canon because one has an explicit crush on the other but at the end of the day they are not a couple and I have to accept that. Most shonen ships are queerbait or "implied" and it's okay to see them as friends if that's what the author says.

I Mean, yes and no , eveb in Twitter Japanese fans are starting to talk about this yknow, recently they said pairings between men and women are for free and shallow, they only need to look at each other, but BoyxBoy and GirlxGirl can have the mostvpoetic relationship, BE MARRIED and they'll still be doubted.
I think respecting is important, I dislike those "Fans" of the content or a ship that are rude to the author or other fans just because their ship is not canon or the story didn't fit their taste, but we also need to be conscious that censorship exists and thats the way of the writters to push for, in this case, and LGBT+ story/characters, and let the community enjoy and be passionate about it in peace just like they do with Straight relationships.
