omg where did you read the sequel?
I haven't read the sequel. The sequel has been released and is complete. It is only 1 volume and 9 chapters. AND here comes the BUT.....from the fandom: If you’re looking to read it, the only official release so far is the single collected volume, available in Japanese. There is no confirmed English translation or print/digital release yet. ------ so right now I can't read it, I am waiting for the english translation at this point and I SO WANT to read this continuation. From the fandom: The story picks up half a year after We Won’t Call It Love, with the two main characters reclaiming lost time and rekindling their relationship. It is part of a prequel/sequel arc with Ai da nante Iwanai kara, which explores the events leading up to Onajide wa Irarenai kara. (I loved the story a lot so I am just gonna hunker down, put in the time and wait....I hope the english trans. comes out faster than normal? If I see an english version is printed I am buying it immediately lol Hope the info was helpful.
and the sequel is Onajide wa Irarenai kara, with a summary of 'because we can't stay the same, the two of us are reclaiming our lost time!' (completion said Jan. 2026 if I remember and will be a bit before translation starts? not sure have to check into that still) Story was fantastic. How Touji got together with Kiyoto was sus from the start. It was a desperation drunk move with Kiyoto, everyone go back and read how they started, it wasn't about mutual affection at all..it could never last. Kiyoto is no saint in this, he had hope but realized it wouldn't go anywhere so he let him go. Wife pursued Youichi and read again their exchange, she let him go, she knew her selfishness wasn't going to hold them together either. Kiyoto and the wife...all casualties thru their own selfish ways they voluntariy chose to tackle these 2 people. Touji and Youichi have not resolved their past feelings, they are burning strong. They reunited and they will face each other properly. Only we can hope the 2 left to the wayside, K and wife, will find their own true loves as Touji and Youichi will give themselvers a real deal shot to see if they can truly be a couple and fall deeply in love. I am so excited to read the next one!!! This story is so well written and so realistic. I will be checking out other works by this author for sure!
