agree, authors throw it in so randomly for no reason and then just brush it off like it’s not incredibly traumatizing
For real like it just happend so suddenly and I think we moved on way too quickly, I dont even think they are going to mention it again
Yeah i think this is the major issue alot of the time, its not the depiction itself, its the lazyness in the writing to not actually aknowlage it. I think its primarly just poor writing, these talented artists who while great at drawing are perhaps not the most mature writers hah.
I wish authors would stop including them if they don't plan to explore the repercussion a SA scene like this should have. In the end, the other students will never show up again or be punished and the main couple acts like that never ever happened.
Not against including SA in stories on princable but here its just sucha bad writing, it just does not fit with the tone at all to have this silly like what ever story and just quckly add in the threat of rape cus you don't have a good idea of how to bring the story forward.
