That honestly hits the nail on the spot. I kinda remembered it being better the first time I read it, but I was younger and didn't really understand the severity of some of the beginning scenes... but now I'm really disappointed :/

I've had this experience so many times; remembering/noting down a story as sth nice and then you come back and it's just... not. Everytime it has me like damn things really do change, wtf was in my head then xD
