Nah I can’t defend the FL even if she suffered. Cause wdym you willingly chose to cheat on the ML and kill yourself after. She just ADDED more to his pain. I feel bad for the ML. All his effort wasted on her tbh. I just know she and readers would be FUMING had he done the same as her, cheating to lessen the “pain.” I guess the only good thing she’d done is trying to separate from him and hopefully he can move on from her.

Nope, she realized he did not love her anymore and she fell out of it too. They got too much trauma from the curse and were only together because ML was protecting her out of duty and not love. That is why she killed herself because this was the first time she died out of her violation.

girl this is fantasy and this person has been suffering horrid deaths for so long while unable to tell her partner that she remembered everything. Is cheating the thing that does it in for you?
Cheating is about a breaking of trust, about humiliating your partner and the "promise" you made to them when you became partners.

Feels very weird to focus on that in a story about a man making a pact with the gods in order to bring his wife back to life, essentially controlling her life for ever since while keeping her in the dark. These two have no trust, and are tired and have resentment for each other, and can't even communicate. That's the whole point. He doesn't know she remembers everything and acts ignorant, meanwhile she also acts ignorant since whenever she tries to tell him she remembers, she dies. She has basically slowly going insane over the course of 15 years, trapped in her own mind. He has had the chance to grow old, to have perspective, and he is the only one who made any choices about their lives. She has had to be in paranoia over her looming death, and to become a passive viewer in her own life, isolated, while everyone she loves grows old.

Honestly I think this story is not told very well, and that it took a very beloved myth and k-webtoon-ified it (I mean why is Orpheus the K-Isekai Duke of the North all of a sudden lmao), and they made a lot of things very unnecessarily confusing, but the fact that some people think that a man sentencing his lover to die repeatedly with no control over her life is somehow much better than her going mad and fucking some rando y'all have issues and need to read better fiction cause it seems like you are stuck at middle school level understanding of storytelling

First of all you need to chill out. Does there need to be a rule that readers have to comment about what you want? I focused on one point while everyone else can write about the rest of the plot. I don’t see why you couldn’t have done that and made your own comment talking about what you got from the plot rather than insulting me for not writing what you prefer.

They BOTH suffered but one chose to do an action that could harm the other. Great you would rather focus only on her suffering and throw the cheating under the rug. Just because I don’t talk about the topic you want doesn’t mean I didn’t understand the story. I’m not a FL defender that supports all women’s wrongs. I call shit out that bothers me regardless and I don’t have to do what you want tf.
