I think maybe you're reading into it too much? But yes, it's always been a problem how yaoi depicts body types in non-bara stories. However, I think he talks about the uke as a kid because the seme actually does want to take care of the uke, but the uke rejects it.
It's a common dynamic when one partner has way more money than the other. The seme is making excuses to create reasons in his head to justify wanting to help the uke, like a sugar daddy. The uke is uncomfortable with this because no one has ever actually taken care of him that way before. They are basically a sugar daddy and sugar baby.
yeomin is cute but he's not childlike and he doesn't act like a kid either. he's tall compare to the npc it just that taeseo is VERY BIG. and taeseo just treat him like a kid as in a very young person compare to him not a literal kid. and the way he "pick up" yeomin, I don't see anything wrong with it. babying your partner is normal in relationships isn't it? you never seen couple pick up their partner like that? ( ̄∇ ̄")
I didn’t say anything about their age gap tho? And their physiques only make me uncomfortable bc it’s paired with the ml making weird comments like him thinking the mc’s body looks like a child’s while they’re having sex. I just get suspicious when someone writes an adult character with childlike features…
I don’t think Yeomin’s behavior is childlike at all; I said that in my original comment. I wouldn’t be uncomfortable with Taeseo “babying” him if he hadn’t made comments like comparing Yeomin’s body to a child’s while they were having sex. It’s because Taeseo thinks things like that and then carries him in one arm (which I don’t see couples do very often because normally an adult would be too heavy to carry effortlessly like that) that I find the way he treats him strange, and it makes me suspicious of the author.
idk you keep saying that Yeon keep comparing his body to a child is not right at all. you keep making him to be a pedo which he doesn't. so i read again just to confirm. all he says is how no his dick is small and hair less. taeseo is a very egocentric man especially in the beginning. all his standard of a "grown man" is basically him. big dick big body. just how he treat yeomin like a kid cause grown man ideally is "like him". it's fiction, with his body he definitely can lift yeomin with ease
What adult man (who you even said is tall compared to most NPCs in the story) has a small hairless dick? That doesn’t sound like a child’s physique to you? I’m not saying Yeon is a pedo; I’m saying I’m suspicious the author might fetishize underage boys and write Yeomin being treated like a child/having childlike physical traits but get away with it by making him an adult. I’m happy that you and others can enjoy the story. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t, but when a character gets described by their partner as having “non-grown man” physical traits and describes their relationship as feeling like he’s taking care of a kid, that makes me uncomfortable, simple as that. And by the number of likes my original comment got, a lot of people are also uncomfortable by Yeon’s behavior, so clearly I’m not making anything up.
oh there are grown man with small hairless dick yk. and again, teoseo is the standard here. context matter. he is an egocentric jerk in the beginning. he has big body and a big dick. ofc yeomin's dick is small in his eyes. and the way you coming for this manhwa reading too much and nitpicking instead of other manhwa that has a literal child like mcs in out there... Does anyone else feel like Yeomin is weirdly infantilized? And I don’t mean his behavior because of his childhood trauma; I mean like how Yeon will make comments about feeling like he’s taking care of a kid, pick him up like he’s holding a child, and their insane size difference/character designs (like when they slept together for the first time Yeon literally made some comment about how prepubescent Yeomin’s body looked and how he couldn’t believe this was the body of a grown man). I really like parts of the story, but I can’t help but feel uncomfortable with certain scenes.
